Automatic differential pressure regulator with fixed setting

(VT.044.G) VT.044 automatic differential pressure regulator is designed for maintenance of the fixed differential pressure (ΔPn) in the dynamic mode in two-pipe heating and cooling systems with variable flow rate.

The regulator renders possible maintenance of the fixed differential pressure (ΔPn) between the regulator and the point of connection of the impulse tube, thus limiting the flow of the operating environment through the regulated section.

The main purpose of the regulator is combined action with VT.054 balancing valve in two-pipe heating systems. In this case, VT.054 balancing valve sets the design value of the connection differential pressure in the served circuit (ΔDc), while the design differential pressure in this section (ΔPn) is maintained by the differential pressure regulator. In case when use of the balancing valve is not required, it is recommended to connect the impulse tube to the ball valve with drainage and air vent valve VT.245, equipped which nozzles with 1/4 ” female thread (see application examples).

Nozzles of VT.044 regulator body serve for connection of the electronic device measuring the differential pressure and flow rate on the valve. These nozzles are plugged with threaded plugs.

The cartridges of the automatic pressure regulator are equipped with a copper impulse tube with M8 x 1/4” adapter (male thread) for connection to VT.054 balancing valve or to VT.245 ball valve.
