VALTEC company draws the attention of its customers to appearance of VT.CAR20 modernized dashpot in its assortment.

The introduced changes concern valve design and location of the nipple with respect to it. If the pumped air is bled when the boost pump is unscrewed from the old model nipple (below in the figure), the air cavity in the new version is closed by the valve, and the pump is unscrewed without loss of pressure in it.

VT.CAR 20 membrane dashpot is designed for compensation of pressure surges, occurring when shutoff valves in apartment water supply systems are suddenly opened or closed. Factory preset pressure in the air chamber: 3.5 bar, maximum operating pressure in the protected apartment water supply: 10 bar, maximum pressure in case of a hydraulic shock: 20 bar, maximum operating temperature: 100 °C. Connecting thread diameter: 1/2".
