Polypropylene ball valve with brass hold fast

(VTp.744.0) The major part of faults in course of polypropylene ball valves as a rule is due to leaking along the stem, which can be explained by the technology of their manufacture: plastic assembly hold fast with gate mechanism is subject to high temperature and pressure impact in thermoplasting machine, which may cause its deformation, worsened in course of exploitation.

Polypropylene ball valve VTp.744 is designed to avoid such problems. The valve hold fast is made of nickeled brass of CW617N grade by hot stamping. To protect against leakage due to the difference in thermal-expansion factors of brass and plastic, the hold fast is equipped with EPDM sealing rings.

Polypropylene ball valve with brass hold fast has the same ball seal valve as a traditional brass valve of VALTEC COMPACT series.

The life of the article confirmed with bench tests is not less than 5000 cycles of opening/closing of hot water (70 °С).
