Pipes of polyethylene of raised thermal resistance

Polyethylene of Raised Temperature Resistance (type 2) differs from the common polyethylene by presence of octenoic deviations from the polymer backbone, which increases thermal resistance and durability of the material.

Pipes made of this material are used in systems of drinking and drinking-household water supply, hot water supply, low-temperature water heating (up to 80 °С), water heated floor and wall systems, soil heating, as well as in technological pipelines transporting liquids not aggressive towards the pipe material. Classes of operation as per GOST 32415-2013 are 1, 2, 4, HV.

Connection of VALTEC PE-RT pipes is made with compression (VTm.300, VT.4410) or press fittings (VTm.200, VTc.712) which are used also for connection of metal-polymer pipes. During installation, the guidance contained in technical data sheets for the specified fittings shold be followed.
