Pipes of polyethylene of raised thermal resistance
(VR1620.200C) Pipes of polyethylene of raised thermal resistance PE-RT (type 2) are used in systems of drinking and drinking-household water supply, hot water supply, low-temperature water heating (up to 80 °С), water heated floor and wall systems, soil heating, as well as in technological pipelines transporting liquids not aggressive towards the pipe material.
VALTEC PE-RT pipe is designed for maximum operating temperature of 80 °С. The maximum short-period allowable temperature is 90 °С. Operating pressure at 20°С (HV class of operation) is 16 bar, at 60 °С (class 1) – 10 bar (for pipes with diameter of 16 mm) or 8 bar (for 20 mm), at 70 °С (classes 2 and 4) – 8 or 6 bar, respectively.
The pipe has no antidiffusion layer, that’s why its oxygen permeability exceeds 0.1 g/m3 per day, which should be considered when designing heating systems.
Country of manufacture China.
The pipes are supplied in bundles of 200 m (16 mm). The price is indicated for one running metre.
