Self-cleaning filters
The wash VALTEC filters are meant for mechanical cleansing of water in cold and hot water supply and heating systems with working temperature of up to 110°C, as well as systems which carry compressed air, oils and liquefied hydrocarbon fuels. The unique development by VALTEC engineers, the cascade wash filter is a lot more compact than other similar filters and it is easier to integrate it into the utility circuit. This is very useful, especially in case of standard cramped washroom spaces. The size of the filter was reduced thanks to an innovative system of filtration: this model has two (one inside the other) filter cartridges. The size of the cells of the primary filter cartridge is 1000 µm, whereas the size of the secondary mesh is 200 µm. this filter also uses the flow swirling principle: in case of alteration of direction of flow at the source at a right angle the flow of working medium moves inside the filter cartridge like a descending spiral. This helps better trap mechanical mixes. The filter also has a drainage tap and a pressure gauge to monitor and control the level of contamination of filter cartridges.
