Air-vents

The accumulation of air and other gases in the heating system leads to limitation and even seizure of circulation of heating medium, which in turn means reduction in the provided heat for the user. Other unwanted consequences of accumulation of air in the heating medium include equipment corrosion, noise, breakdowns in circulation pumps. In case of use of aluminium radiators there is an emission of explosive hydrogen, which should be immediately discharged (this is indicated in the recommendations by the SRI of Sanitary Engineering). The gases are discharged from the heating devices through the air-vent. The automatic air-vent carries-out the said discharge without the user’s participation. The VALTEC trademark offers dependable automatic float type air vents, including compact models for installation on heating devices. They can be used in systems, which use water, non-freezing glycol solutions and other noncorrosive to the fitting’s materials liquids as the working medium, at working temperatures of up to 110°C. The bodies of these fittings are made of hot pressed brad brand CW617N (Euro standard EN 12165). To make it possible to uninstall the VALTEC automatic air-vent without total system discharge, it is fitted with VT.539 shutoff valve. Average total life: 30 years.
