Universal axial fitting – chrome-plated sleeve

(VTm.400.BC) The chrome-plated sleeve is designed for installation of axial radiator fittings VTm.481 and VTm.482, and used to connect a pipeline, made of cross-linked polyethylene, to fittings of connecting radiators.

As the result of mounting of VALTEC axial fitting, dead connection is obtained, not requiring any maintenance, which allows both open and nonexposed installation of the pipeline, including with incorporation of the fitting into the civil structure (in absence of a passage to the thread). Tightness of the connection is obtained due to tube material embossing into the borings in fitting body union which takes place when the sleeve is slipping onto the fitting body union.

VALTEC axial fittings do not restrict the diameter of connected pipelines due to extension of pipe ends before performance of connection.
