PERFECT-GOST ball valves

Since September 1, 2023, brass ball valves have been included in the list of products subject to mandatory certification in the Russian Federation (not declaration, but certification with testing).

At present, ball valves without a mandatory certificate are still found on the Russian market. However, their import and further sale on the territory of the Russian Federation is becoming increasingly difficult, especially in large volumes, and may result in fines and seizure of goods.

    In connection with the above circumstances, the following product groups have been introduced into the VALTEC range:
  • The BASE-GOST valve series, which replaces the previously supplied BASE series.
  • The VT.400 valve series, which replaced the PERFECT series.

To maintain continuity, the VT.400 series will be renamed to PERFECT-GOST in June 2026, and the valve handles will be replaced with black handles traditional for the PERFECT series.

Both series are manufactured in full compliance with GOST R 59553-2021.

    The main differences between the PERFECT-GOST and BASE-GOST series valves:
  • Presence of an additional EPDM sealing ring in the gland assembly of PERFECT-GOST valves;
  • Increased length of socket connections in PERFECT-GOST valves.

Both series are full-bore, unlike many other "GOST" class valves available on the Russian market.

The service life of PERFECT-GOST and BASE-GOST valves is 25 thousand open/close cycles. For comparison: the service life of many other "GOST" valves is 10 thousand cycles.

Please note: tests and operating experience of the PERFECT-GOST series valves show that their design guarantees a much greater potential than required by GOST. Valves of this series can withstand significant longitudinal and transverse loads from pipelines, bending and torque moments, while maintaining reliability.
