Attention, novelty!

The assortment of VALTEC brass threaded fittings was completed with a novelty, VTr.340.C chrome-plated detachable coupling.

The coupling was designed for connection of towel dryers to pipelines (See scheme below); it consists of two brass nozzles with female thread interconnected with a brass union nut. Tapered connection of the nozzle is sealed with an ethylene-propylene elastomeric O-ring (EPDM Sh70) with thermal resistance of 110 °С.

Connection of towel dryers is not the only application of the detachable coupling. It represents a compact substitution of the union; that’s why it can be used where it is necessary to divide a pipeline into repair sections, or to connect equipment and instruments which may require repair or substitution.
