Universal axial fitting – short radiator tee with chrome-plated brass tube

(VTm.482.C) Slip fittings (axial fittings) of VTm.400 series are purposed for mounting of pipes made of cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) with the following geometrical parameters (external diameter/ wall thickness): 16,0 x 2,2, 20,0 x 2,8, 25,0 x 3,5, 32,0 x 4,4 mm.

As the result of mounting of VALTEC axial fitting, dead connection is obtained, not requiring any maintenance, which allows both open and nonexposed installation of the pipeline, including with incorporation of the fitting into the civil structure (in absence of a passage to the thread). Tightness of the connection is obtained due to tube material embossing into the borings in fitting body union which takes place when the sleeve is slipping onto the fitting body union.

VALTEC axial fittings do not restrict the diameter of connected pipelines due to extension of pipe ends before performance of connection.

Installation of this axial fitting is carried out with manual or electric tools.

Axial radiator tee is designed for connection of heating device (radiator) fittings to the pipe connection layout. The pipe is connected to “Eurocone” fittings by means of VT.4430 crimp connection.

VTm.482 axial radiator tee with a brass chrome-plated tube is designed for use in the systems with the nominal pressure up to 16 bar and the maximum operating temperature not exceeding 95 °C.

Fitting tube length is 30 cm. If the fittings are located underneath, it is necessary to measure the required tube length first and then to cut off the excess with wheel cutter.
