Universal electronic water meter without pipe unions

(VLF-U-15-3.110) VALTEC SVEU universal electronic water meter is designed for measurement of the flow of cold and hot water flowing through pipelines at pressures up to 1.0 MPa and temperatures from +5 to +90 °C. The main application of the meter is commercial water metering, mainly in apartments.

VALTEC SVEU universal water meter has a single-jet dry-run winged configuration. An impeller is located in the flow part of the case which rotates under water flow action. The number of its revolutions is proportional to the volume of water passed through the meter. Calculation of the number of impeller revolutions is carried out by analyzing the changes in the field density of the permanent magnet located at the top of the impeller axis. The information about the amount of consumed water is calculated by the device and visualized on the LCD.

The magnetic field operating sensor makes possible monitoring of the impact of external magnetic fields on the counter. At the same time, measurement of the volume of water passed through the meter does not stop, while the fact of external magnetic field impact is recorded in the emergency log.

When using the meter in automated systems of energy resources control and metering, the information about the measured volume of water, as well as the contents of meter logs are transmitted via wired (RS-485, M-BUS) or wireless (wM-Bus, LoRaWAN, NB-Fi) interface, depending on the model.

Meters are available with nominal diameters of 15 (1/2") and 20 (3/4") mm with nominal flow rates of 1.5 and 2.5 m³/h respectively.

VALTEC SVEU water meters comply with the requirements of GOST R 50601-93 and GOST R 50193.1-92 and of ISO 4064 international standard, are manufactured according to the specifications of SET.469333.148 TU, are included into the State Register of Measuring Instruments at No. 78884-20 and are approved for use in Russia.

The average service life of SVEU water meters is 12 years. The length of battery continuous operation is at least 6 years. The calibration interval in case of meter installation on cold and hot water is 6 years.
