Nickel-Plated Safety Valve

(VT.496.N) Nickel-plated safety valve with fixed 3 bars setting is used in VT.495.N and VT.460.N safety groups.

The valve ensures protection against excessive of water-heating units, boilers, pressure vessels, heating systems and press pipe circuits by means of medium discharge (water, uncongealable glycol heating mediums, natural and liquefied gas, etc.) to the environment or to the drain pipeline. Sphere of application: systems with thermal capacity under 43.7 kW. Maximum operating temperature: 120 °C. The possibility is foreseen of manual safety valve opening for control of operability and for prevention of seizing of the spool holder. Connection thread diameter: 1/2".
